What a great write up from Chris Barsby on our annual Summer Racing Carnival!

With this weekend’s opening night fast approaching, we’re so excited to show you all we have planned.

“The programs look great, catering for all classes and the punters are set to have plenty of fun too including our $5000 cash member giveaway courtesy of our generous sponsors Garrards” CEO Scott Steele said.

Our race program for this weekend, is set to start with a bang with 10 race events, including 7 feature events: the Gr.2 $30,770 Darrell Alexander Memorial Trotting Championship Final, Gr.3 $30,660 Garrards Be Good Johnny Sprint, Gr.3 $30,660 Garrards QBRED For Life 3yo Finals, Listed $25,660 Changeover Queen of the Creek Pace, $21,270 AQWA Constructions APHRC Members Cup and the $21,160 The Creek 2yo Feature.

NOVA 106.9FM Radio personality and breakfast show host David ‘Luttsy’ Lutteral will also be trackside this weekend and is expected to ‘call’ the Jockey/Driver challenge events.

So bring some friends along and head trackside, with loads more on offer The Creek is the place to be!

General Admission

We offer free admission on all general race meetings, feature race meetings or charity events may have an entry fee. If you are unsure if the day you are attending is a feature race meeting please contact the club on 07 3262 2577.

Dress Code

The minimum dress standard for members of the general public attending The Creek is clean and neat casual dress. Footwear is mandatory at all times. Members of the general public may be refused entry by Club Officials if it is felt that these standards are not being adhered to.

Parking

Free parking is available for all general race day attendees. Our carpark can be accessed via Yulestar St, which is directly across the road from the Breakfast Creek Hotel carpark.

Race Day Facilities

Located within our main Grandstand building you will find Pacers and Chasers Bar & Bistro, TOTE and self serve betting terminals, as well as glass windows and television screens for race viewing. The building has a disabled lift and the grandstand includes a viewing deck for wheelchair access.
