Christmas Edition

Well we are in the home straight of seeing off another year and what a year it have been for The Creek. 

Many highlights but I don’t think I can go past our winter carnival as my standout.

I really think it was the creek’s coming of age, the quality of horses local, interstate, and international, seeing large crowds back at the track and the social interaction cemented Albion Park as the place to be in July each year moving forward.

Id like to take this opportunity to wish all our members and their families a very merry and safe Christmas.

December is always a time when we reflect on what we are thankful for and I’m very thankful for the support of our members during the year, the hard working participants that makes our sport great and the effort of my dedicated staff at times under difficult circumstances ensure The Creek was ready to race and host patrons some 158 times this year. 

Don’t forget December 18th our members Christmas party where the Directors are shouting some Christmas cheer in the Creek Bar, plus 3 x $250 cash giveaways for those who have renewed plus the ever-popular Spike will be playing music long into the night. 

We haven’t forgotten the trainers & drivers! Both winners of each race will receive a ham from the Club. Limit to one ham per person so we can share them around.

General Admission

We offer free admission on all general race meetings, feature race meetings or charity events may have an entry fee. If you are unsure if the day you are attending is a feature race meeting please contact the club on 07 3262 2577.

Dress Code

The minimum dress standard for members of the general public attending The Creek is clean and neat casual dress. Footwear is mandatory at all times. Members of the general public may be refused entry by Club Officials if it is felt that these standards are not being adhered to.

Parking

Free parking is available for all general race day attendees. Our carpark can be accessed via Yulestar St, which is directly across the road from the Breakfast Creek Hotel carpark.

Race Day Facilities

Located within our main Grandstand building you will find Pacers and Chasers Bar & Bistro, TOTE and self serve betting terminals, as well as glass windows and television screens for race viewing. The building has a disabled lift and the grandstand includes a viewing deck for wheelchair access.
