Friday night will be a different night of action this week when a mammoth 11 race card will be held exclusively for QBRED eligible horses looking to progress to the Triad Finals next Saturday, August 17.
With the top four ranked horses secured for the finals, positions for the remaining six spots in the two-year-olds and eight in the three-year-olds will be decided from the heats on Friday.
Three heats for the two-year-old colts and geldings and the fillies will be conducted, meaning the remaining six spots in each respective final will be filled by the first two across the line in each heat.
In the three-year-old colts and geldings, three heats are scheduled with the first two from each heat guaranteed to progress to the final, with the fastest two individual third placed runners from the heats also progressing.
With just two heats of the three-year-old fillies, it will be the first four across the line in each heat that will again a start in the $150,000 Group 1 Final.
The first heat of the three-year-old fillies is race 5 at 6.58pm and looks an even contest across the board, as does the second heat which is race 8.
Hell Of A Hand finished fourth in the Breeders Classic earlier in the season and two starts back scored a stylish win at Redcliffe from a wide gate.
Missed Consequences is a three-time winner at The Creek and is one of two last start winners in the field, with six of the 11 runners yet to secure an AP victory.
Synchronizer is the only last start winner in the second three-year-old fillies, trainer Grant Dixon also represented by Firebolt from gate one, the filly having faced tough draws in her past three starts.
The other main hope in heat two is the Shannon Price trained Reason To Shine which should appreciate the drop back out of Oaks company from her past three starts, however, faces a potentially awkward draw from inside the second line.
Fillies already confirmed for the Triad Final with a top-four ranking are Rylee Rhayne Bow, Ever Art, Bettor Cullect and Majorita Jujon.

Race three is the first of three-year-old colts and geldings heats, where lightly raced Balboa Rock returns to Queensland looking to go one better from his second-place finish in the two-year-old Triad Final last year.
Only raced twice since, he was second to Soho Spectre in September, before resuming with a Launceston victory back on June 23.
Hot Rod Harry was a late scratching just 90 minutes prior to The Hayden and has drawn gate two for Trent Dawson.
Heat two is an open contest with several horses in contention, the field boasting four last start winners- Risk Taker, Punters Jewel, Studleigh Punter and Skyro Dreamz.
The third of the colts and geldings heat looks the strongest with Checknoutthetalent a major threat but drawing awkwardly in gate six.
Quik Change has struggled to get back to his best in his three-year-old campaign after claiming the Triad Final at two, with Fact Finder, Blackjack Crippa and My Ultimate Buddha all capable enough to win with the right trip.
Ellis Street, Dele Row, Chicago Bart and Attachment are the four colts and geldings locked in for the three-year-old Triad.

Race one at 4.51pm will see the two-year-old colts and geldings trying to squeeze into a top-two finish to guarantee a spot in the $150,000 Triad Final.
Two first-starters will line up amongst the ten runners, of which six have tasted success this season.
Ogedie from inside the second line and Victree Charlie to his outside in gate 10 are both last start winners, while two-time winner Dual Cam gains the barrier advantage from gate one.
In the second heat, Udderly Sweet will start from gate five, the colt having only missed a placing once in five career starts.
Happy As Can Be will be fresh up from a last start victory back in June, with the form franked from that race, three of the beaten runners having subsequently claimed race success.
Pats Boys was an impressive debut winner in an APG Heat before making a costly error in the final and will face gate 7 with the ODM embargo.
Race six at 7.33pm is the third of the heats with the talented Thetorque Majority to face some stiff opposition.
A debut winner, the gelding was mighty impressive at his third career start where he lowered a class record for two-year-olds over 2138 metres that had been claimed by Fate Awaits earlier in the season.
Great Achiever and French Fries have both drawn to the inside of Thetorque Majority, with the other race winner, Always Promise Me, starting from inside the second line.
The first two from each heat will join Our Sweet Delight, Sinabun, Fire Raiser and Hell Im Smooth in the Triad Final.

The three two-year-old fillies heats are the last three races on the card, starting from 9.18pm.
Weregoingtogetcha is a last start winner but will be tested by The Lady Dior and Seaside Glory which was particularly impressive when attacking the line for second last time out.
With two wins in her past three starts, The Torque Effect draws the best of her rivals in the second heat, with Alice Rhayne Bow looking to break maiden ranks after placings in six of her seven career starts.
Sporty Zara caught the eye behind Arrive last start when resuming from a spell and her 1.54.7 win three starts back is the quickest winning time by any of the QBRED fillies this season.
Amanda Turnbull and London Baby will be hard to beat in the final heat, the filly having last race at Melton in April when fourth in the Nutrien Final, preparing for this with an effortless Bathurst trial victory.
Those fillies confirmed for the final are Cool And Classy, Hunger Strike, Reds Ablaze and Arrive.
